ORIGIN: Found in Cuba, Haiti and the Dominican Republic at elevations of sea level to 800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to cool growing leafless epiphyte with rhizomatous, very short stem giving rise to numerous, fasciculate, smooth roots that blooms in the winter, spring, summer and fall on an erect, 5 3/4 to 12 [14 to 30 cm] long, simple or paniculate inflorescence arising from low on the stem and carrying a few to several, resupinate, successively opening flowers towards the apex.
