ORIGIN: Found from Benin, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Togo, Cameroon, Gabon, Central African Republic, Congo, Equiatorial Guinea, Gulf of Guinea Islands, Zaire, Rwanda, Angola and Uganda in rainforests on tree trunks and large branches at elevations of 350 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized pendant and warm to cool growing epiphyte with pendant, elongate stems carrying numerous, distichous, ovate or elliptic, unequally and acutely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the fall on a pendant, many [to 25] flowered, 9 [22 cm] long, racemose inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
