ORIGIN: Found in scrub Rosemary bushes in Florida and the Bahamas in exteremly bright conditions.

DESCRIPTION: A small equitant epiphytic species found in scrub Rosemary bushes in Florida and the Bahamas in exteremly bright conditions with a small inconspicuous pseudobulb completely enveloped by the overlapping bases of the distichous, imbricating, 4 to 8, leathery, green, all held in one plane[fanshaped], lanceolate, acute, conduplicate leaves with saw toothed margins that blooms on a to 25 [64 cm] long, axillary, many [25] flowered, racemose inflorescence occurring in the late spring. The flowers pictured here came from a native plant near Jupiter Florida.
