ORIGIN: A widespread, small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphytic Philippine species with rigid, swordlike leaves that is found in swamps, bogs and in mangroves on the seacoast from sea-level to 900 meters.

DESCRIPTION: A widespread, small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphytic Philippine species with rigid, swordlike leaves that is found in swamps, bogs and in mangroves on the seacoast from sea-level to 900 meters. This species has pendant, flattened stems carrying 2 ranked, thick, basally clasping, rigid, triangular-lanceolate leaves that blooms an an terminal, short, few, slightly fragrant flowered inflorescence that arise from the nodes at the apex of the stem occurring in all months other than the last two months of autumn which is a good time to lessen water and fertilizer as well.
