ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea and Moa Island Queensland in lowland forests at elevations of sea-level to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Giant sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a stout, elongate stem carrying several, horizontal, very fleshy, rigid, oblong-strap-shaped, rounded and slightly obliquely bilobulate apically, grooved above along midrib, slightly prominent below, somewhat shiny leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on a stout, erect, rigid, branching to 3, 9.6 to 12.8 [24 to 32 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence and carrying vanilla scented flowers.
