ORIGIN: Found in the Moluccas in lowland and lower motane forests at elevations of 26 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing, monopodial epiphyte of the hill forests on twigs and tree branches in high light with stems carrying several, oblong, coriaceous, margins recurved leaves that are mottled purple beneath that blooms in the winter on a 8 [20 cm] long, pendulous inflorescence that has many [20 to 70], fleshy, long-lasting flowers, which open from the bottom up, all clustered towards the apex.
