ORIGIN: Found in the Kumaun Himalayas, China and Vietnam on cliff faces on mossy boulders in primary highland cloud forests at elevations of 1500 to 3300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial and lithophyte with an elongate hersheys kiss shaped pseudobulb carrying a single apical, plicate, thin leaf that blooms as a new growth arises in the spring on a 3 [7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a fragrant flower.
