DESCRIPTION: This small sized, cool to hot growing epiphytic orchid has clumping, smooth, green pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblanceolate, stiff-textured, smooth, glossy green leaf that is basally jointed and is a spring and summer bloomer with an erect, densly many flowered, 9 [22.5 cm] long raceme with several [15], inverted flowers that open in succession over a long period. This orchid needs high humidity to be mounted, less to be potted in a bark mix, given deep shade and warm to cool temperatures.
