ORIGIN: Found in the state of Minas Gerais in the Serra do Cipo mountains.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool growing lithophyte under stunted bushes. The plant generally has a deep reddish purple cast with fairly bright light with a cool environment, blooming in Brazil in the late winter and early spring on a short, arcuate inflorescence with several flowers held above the leaves. Pot with a coarse mixture and water while growing and give a drier winter.
