ORIGIN: Found in the Seychelles, the Mascarenes and Madagascar on forest edges, in riverine, litoral, evergreen forests on tree bases as well as among rocks and in grasslands as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial and occasional epiphyte at elevations around 100 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Found in the Seychelles, the Mascarenes and Madagascar on forest edges, in riverine, litoral, evergreen forests on tree bases as well as among rocks and in grasslands as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial and occasional epiphyte at elevations around 100 to 2000 meters with narrowly-lanceolate, or linear-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the mid spring and mid fall on a subcorymbose, few to many flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers.
