Glomera pendulata is an orchid species identified by (P.Royen) J.J.Wood in 1986. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Glomera palustris.
ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea the Bismark Archipelago and the Solomon Islands in grasslands at elevations of 3200 to 3450 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped completly by imbricate leaf sheaths carrying coriaceous, glabrous, minutely transversely warty above, ovate lanceolate to lanceolate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms on a terminal, corymbose, head .88 to 1 [2.2 to 2.5 cm] across many flowered inflorescence.
