ORIGIN: Found in southwestern Cape Province South Africa at elevations mostly under 900 meters but occasionally up to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with basal, in a whorl, spathulate, apiculate leaves and 1 to 4, cauline, lanceolate, upper half free and distant from the scape leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, 3.2 to 12 [8 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
