ORIGIN: Found in the Bismark Islands, New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Queensland, Fiji, Niue, New Caledonia, Samoa, Santa Cruz Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna and the northern Mariana Islands in coastal and montane forests at elevations of sea-level to 1030 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying 5 to 10, arranged in a fan, ligulate, unequally obtusely bilobed apically, articulate below into the conduplicate, imbricate leaf base leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary, 5 to 13 [12.5 to 31 cm] long, cylindrical, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with tiny flowers.
