ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea in rainforests at elevations of 50 to 500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot growing epiphyte with crowded, arranged in a row, basally swollen and gradually narrowing towards the apex, laterally compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate, coriaceous,shortly bidentate apically leaf that blooms in the spring and fall on a short, terminal, single flowered inflorescence arising through a laterally compressed, narrowly lanceolate, acute spathe.
