ORIGIN: Found in the western Himalayas, Chinese Himalayas, Assam, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam on trees in forests grazed by cattle at elevations of 1850 to 2350 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with attenuate, cylindric-conical, slender, yellowish pseudobulbs enveloped by imbricating, membraneous, striate sheaths and carrying 3 to 4, suberect to somewhat spreading, slightly arcuate, fleshy, thinly leathery, linear-oblong to obliquely emarginate, sessile, jointed, acute to obtuse leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, slender, solitary, pendant, slightly fractiflex, glabrous, simultaneously 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with glabrous basal sheaths.
