ORIGIN: Found in the Moluccas, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on small moss covered twigs and branches in montane forests at elevations of 1700 to 2500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte or occasional litho-terrestrial with reddish brown pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3 oval, deciduous, dark green above, purple suffused beneath leaves that blooms in the spring through fall on leaf less canes with several, short, 2 flowered inflorescence with the flowers facing each other.
