ORIGIN: Found in Cundinamarca Colombia in scrub and grass in paramo at elevations of 3000 to 3600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with small pear-shaped, sulcate with age pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 3 to 5, leathery, foliaceous, narrowly lanceolate, acuminate sheaths and carrying 2, apical, narrowly lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the spring on a 12 [30 cm] long, erect to slightly arching, loosely, 7 flowered, racemose, on one side of the inflorescence arising through a leaf sheath.
