ORIGIN: Found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia at elevations around 1400 to 2800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, fasciculate, slender, slightly thickened basally ramicauls enveloped by a loose, tubular sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute to subacute, narrowly cuneate below into the slender, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a .08 [2 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising and concealed within a reclining spathe at the base of the leaf and has a tublar floral bract.
