ORIGIN: Found in Nepal, the eastern Himalayas, Myanmar and Malaysia in subtropical mixed forests at elevations around 1800 to 3000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with 1.8 to 3.6 [4.5 to 9 cm] between each cylindric, narrowing above and curved pseudobulb enveloped below by white sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate, obtuse, narrowing below into the sessile to shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, 1 [2.5 cm] long, 6 to 12 flowered, racemose to sub-umbellate inflorescence arising through the sheath and holding the flowers at the apex in a loose umbel.
