ORIGIN: Found in New South Wales, Victioria and Tasmania Australia at elevations of 5 to 450 meters in moist to wet forests and coastal scrub.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a stem carrying a few leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, 2.4 to 4 [6 to 10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a stiffly erect flower.

FLOWER SIZE: 0.8 to 1 inch [2 to 2.5 cm] -- information provided by Jay Pfahl, author of the Internet Orchid Species Encyclopedia (IOSPE).
