ORIGIN: Found in Madagascar, Mauritius and Reunion in peaty soils in marshlands, wet grasslands and beside streams at elevations of sea-level to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Hot to cool growing terrestrial with linear, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late winter through early fall on an erect, somewhat corymbose apically, several flowered inflorescence.
