ORIGIN: Found in the Comoros Islands and northern and south central Madagascar at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters in humid evergreen forests.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a stout, woody, erect stem carrying 2 to 10, 2 ranked, narrowly elliptic, oblong to obovate, unequally bilobed apically, rounded lobes, thick and succulent to leathery, greyish green, often distinctly undulate margined leaves that blooms in the spring on 1 to several, axillary or belowthe leaves, pendent, 8 to 14 [20 to 35 cm] long, 6 to 15 flowered inflorescence with 1/2 to 3/4 between each flower.
