ORIGIN: Found in Colombia in very wet montane forests at elevations around 1400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with an elongate, creeping rhizome giving rise to small pseudobulbs enveloped completely by distichous, leaf bearing sheaths and carrying ligulate, thin, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect then descending, to 4'2 [125 cm] long overall, peduncle to 22 [55 cm] long, paniculate, to 28 [70 cm] long, many branched, to 4 [10 cm] long, some branches branching again,each with 1 to 3 flowers, many flowered inflorescence.
