ORIGIN: Found in southern Taiwan in broad leaved forests at elevations of 100 to 400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with 2 to 4 [5 to 10 cm] between each ovoid to narrowly ovoid, 3 to 5 ribbed pseudobulb carrying a single apical, erect, elliptic to narrowly oblong, leathery, obtuse and retuse apically, contracted below into the subsessile base leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a basal, erect, stout, [5 to 15 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered, umbellate inflorescence with 2 sheaths and lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
