Zosterophyllanthos recurvatus is an orchid species identified by (Luer & Hirtz) Szlach. & Kulak in 2006. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Pleurothallis recurvata.
ORIGIN: Found in southeastern Ecuador at elevations around 950 to 1200 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by a close, tubular sheath on the lower third and 2 other ones at the base and carrying a single, apical, suberect to erect, coriaceous, ovate, acute, cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in summer on a fascile, of slender, .04 to .08 [1 to 2 mm] long peduncle, successively single flowered inflorescence arising through and concealed by a spathe and has a tubular floral bract.
