ORIGIN: Found in Assam India, Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Yunnan province of China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in open forests on trees at elevations 600 to 2150 meters.

DESCRIPTION: An erect or pendulous, miniature to medium sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with a stout leaf stem carrying coriaceous, broadly lorate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on an axillary, ascending, slender, 12" [30 cm] long, paniculate, 8 to 14 branched, successively few, many flowered inflorescence with a few distant sheaths and broad, short floral bracts.
