ORIGIN: Found in peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Bali and Java in lower montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1500 meters high up on isolated tree trunks and branches in bright light.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, ridged pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, acute, margins slightly undulate, plicate, 9 nerved, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, 15 [37.5 cm] long, several [15] flowered, flexuous inflorescence which arise from a mature pseudobulb with a fractiflex rachis in the spring and early summer with the sweetly fragrant flowers opening simultaneously but not opening fully.
