ORIGIN: Found in the cockpit country of Jamaica on trees near flowing water in exposed conditions at elevations of 150 to 300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature, fan shaped, warm to cool growing epiphyte with no pseudobulbs yet to 4 or more, linear-ligulate, acute leaves held in a fan shape that blooms on a lateral, erect, to 7 [10 to 18 cm] long, slender, terete, simple or few branched, distally, few to many [5 to 15] flowered inflorescence with longlasting, slightly waxy flowers occurring in the winter and summer. This species likes a cork mount in bright light, heavy humidity and good air movement as well as hot to warm temperatures.
