ORIGIN: Found in Thailand, Penninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Lesser Sunda islands, New Guinea and the Philippines at elevations around sea-level to 2000 meters in shady lowland and montane forests on tall trees.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with close set pseudobulbs carrying 2 long-oblong, acute leaves and basal sheaths that blooms in the fall and winter on a slender, pendulous, 8 to 28 [20 to 70 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
