ORIGIN: Found in Minas Gerais, Brazil at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with cylindrical, slightly flattened pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical leaves that blooms on a terminal, 2 to 4 3/4 [5 to 12 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with a few [6 to 8], non-resupinate flowers occurring at any time of the year.
