ORIGIN: Found in Bolivia in subxerophytic forests at elevations of 850 to 2370 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium to large sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte on tree trunks or terrestrial with ovate, wrinkled with age pseudobulbs enveloped basally in youth by a few scarious bracts and carrying 2 apical, erect, linear, acute conduplicate towards the base into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, terminal, branched, several to many flowered inflorescence.
