ORIGIN: Found in Oaxaca state of Mexico in montane forests at elevations around 2020 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with reverse pear-shaped, to elliptic pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on a terminal, 10 [25 cm] long, 6 to 8 successively flowered, racemose inflorescence.
