ORIGIN: Found in Peru in tropical rainforests at elevations around 650 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with fusiform pseudobulbs enveloped by imbricating, soon evanescent leaf bearing sheaths carrying 4 to 5, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a male pendent, to 16 [40 cm] long, densely 12 to 16 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute, much shorter than the ovaries floral bracts and carrying resupinate, strongly sweetly scented flowers.
