ORIGIN: Found in northern Venezuela at elevations around 1370 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin tubular shaeths below the middle and another at the base and carrying a single, apical, horizontal, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the spring on a short successively single flowered inflorescence arising through a reclining spathe at the base of the leaf and carrying a non-resupinate flower.
