ORIGIN: Found in Rio de Janeiro Brazil at elevations over 1400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with an elongate monopodial stem carrying distichous leaves that blooms in the early summer on a very short, several flowered inflorescence arising opposite from the leaf.
