ORIGIN: Found in Borneo at elevations of 450 to 610 meters on limestone cliffs near waterfalls on huge mossy trees 20 feet up.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with oblong to obovate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a shorter than the leaf, 12 [30 cm] long, zigzag inflorescence with sequentially opening, few flowers.

FLOWER SIZE: 2 to 2 1/2 inches [5 to 6.25 cm] -- information provided by Jay Pfahl, author of the Internet Orchid Species Encyclopedia (IOSPE).
