ORIGIN: Found in southern and southeastern Brazil at elevations around 400 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 3, loose, brown sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, stiff, conduplicate, dark olive green leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on 1 to 2, 2 to 2.8 [5 to 7 cm] long, simultaneously 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the apex of the ramicaul.
