ORIGIN: Found in southern Brazil in cool moist mountains at elevations of 100 to 1200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with clustered, narrowly linear-oblong, laterally compressed, longitudinally grooved pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 1 to 2 thin, dry, leafless sheaths and carrying a single, apical, linear-lanceolate, obtuse leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on a basal, 2 to 3 [5 to 7.5 cm] long, racemose inflorescence carrying the 1 to 5 nodding flowers towards the apex.
