ORIGIN: Found in Venezuela and Colombia.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with clustered, ovoid to conical, slightly compressed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by evanescent sheaths and carrying 3 to 4, deciduous, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, acute, attenuate at both ends, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, to 14 [35 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence enveloped below by several, amplexicaul, inflated, lanceolate to ovate, gradually larger towards the apex bracts and similar floral bracts and carrying a super fragrant flower.
