ORIGIN: Found in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Queensland Australia at elevations of 300 to 600 meters in rainforests.

DESCRIPTION: Giant sized, hot to warm growing saprophyte/epiphyte on humus at the base of trees and ascending with a climbing, densely leafy stem carrying many, alternately 2-ranked, linear-ligulate, gradually narrowing towards the apex, acute, conduplicate leaves that blooms in the summer through fall on an axillary, laxly many flowered, to 20 [50 cm] long racemose inflorescence with distant, short, broad, obtuse bracts and triangular floral bracts.
