VANDAS: Air-layering Cut around the stem into live tissue; dust with Rootone, and place wet sphagnum over it, cover with polyethylene and secure with elastic bands; wait till roots are 1.5 inches, cut off and pot. F70-117 0

VANDAS: No Blooms Vanda hybrids with V. sanderiana blood will not bloom if kept too cold, even when located south of Miami; also, relatively strong light is necessary. A71-345 0
VANDAS: To Make More Plants Cut off the top half or so of the plant so that it has aerial roots, leave the leaves on the bottom section, soak the roots to make them pliable for placing within the pot in new pot and potting mix. A69-55 0
