ORIGIN: Found in Mexico in oak or pine-oak forests occasionally on rocks at elevations of 300 to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte and occasional lithophyte with loosely clustered, pyriform to ellipsoid, laterally compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, acute, narrowly elliptic leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on a racemose, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
