TRACE ELEMENTS: Added to a 20-20-20 Fertilizer They are not necessary as special additives; minor elements probably are present in the fertilizer itself, or in the water supply or in the tree-fern medium being used. A67-1010 0
TRACE ELEMENTS: Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese and Zinc They need a slightly acid reaction in the compost for assimilation by the plants; copper and zinc are available in alkali; they readily chelate, which happens when an organic molecule envelops them; refer to OA78-51; this is not true and should be omitted. TRACE ELEMENTS: Treatment Once a month use Sequestrene 330Fe (Iron Chelate Micronutrient) at 1/4 tpg., twice in summer apply at the same strength Peters' S.T.E.M. (Soluble Trace Element Mix) at the same strength; apply Epsom Salts fortnightly at 1 ttpg. to promote green foliage. OD87-36 0
