Weeks ahead of show time check for all pests, place the stakes, clean the foliage, cut off dead leaf tips diagonally, cover the spikes with plastic bags to preserve the flowers, prepare proper labels, cover the pots in decorative containers or in sphagnum moss, place your name on the pot for security and make out the proper entry forms.
