MASDEVALLIAS: New Growth Catches in the Sheaths It has been seen when they are grown under lights; possibly arises because the plants grow extremely compactly; do not pot them too deeply as this may be contributory; make sure they get enough light so they do not have to "reach" which may cause other abnormalities. MASDEVALLIAS: Re-establishing Newly Arrived Plants Place them in a cool, moist shaded location; use a well-drained medium with lots of moisture-retaining quality; do not use straight bark; some peat moss is advantageous; syringe frequently and lightly. A64-872 0
