Make it with Super Manure (4-4-2) at the rate of 10 tablespoons to a haIf-galIon of water in a jar, shake it, let it stand a day, pour two measures of it into a five-galIon bucket and fill the rest with water, then use a 16-to-one ratio by means of a siphon mixer to water the plants. A87-796

MANURES: As Fertilizers Chicken and other animal manures contain organic materials which can accumulate in the potting medium to reduce its aeration; the major nutrients are present and most of the micronutrients. P68(3)-7; they can carry diseases or be high in salinity.
