Rather new and a serious fungus disease of roots of various genera; infects newly cut divisions; may live a year; looks like Pellicularia filamentosa; yellow and shrivelled leaves and pseudobulbs become thin and somewhat twisted; rhizome shows circle of purple in outer layers; all may be invaded; destroy all infected pieces; dip rest in Benlate 1 ttpg. and repeat two weeks later.
