It is most logically used on terrestrial-type plants; common agricultural fertilizers are too quick acting for orchids; blood meal or hoof and horn require microbe action to release 13% nitrogen; single superphosphate and sulfate of potash can be combined with organics; program for cymbidiums May 15 to October 30 outlined; refer to A65-224+ and 909.
