Small, dark brown, about one-eighteenth inch long; bores into canes; also attacks cattleyas; causes small shot-holes; chlorotic areas appear; does not kill the plant; control with Diazinon 25%EC, 2 tpg., or Lindane 25%WP 1 ttpg. DK12+
