A one-minute soak in two to four percent bleach (Clorox, 5.25 percent sodium hypochlorite) solution kills Cymbidium mosaic virus; a four percent bleach is prepared by adding three tablespoons of Clorox to 1 quart of water; Clorox is corrosive; renew each day. 168(4)6
